Job Description
As a travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide bedside care to patients and assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living. This role involves administering medications according to approved nursing techniques and scope of practice, maintaining patient medical records, and communicating effectively with supervising RNs. You will also follow hospital safety rules and procedures, as well as perform other duties assigned by management.
Required Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, and technical/motor skills are essential for this position. Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid LPN license in the state where you will be practicing, BLS certification, and one to three years' experience as an LPN. Varied nursing experience depending on setting is preferred. We are seeking individuals who can work effectively under pressure, contend with irregular activity schedules, and continuously concentrate on detail.
