Fusion Medical Staffing is currently seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13 week travel assignment in Arlington, VA.
Job Details
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
The ideal candidate will operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They will prepare patients for procedures, position them safely and accurately, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the imaging process, and positioning patients appropriately.
- Setting technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Providing high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Maintaining equipment, keeping patient records, and following safety procedures.
