In this role, you will determine appropriate occupational therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at a wide range of functional levels. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, providing occupational therapy services to a diverse range of patients.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, daily living skills, and cognitive performance
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and other goals that matter to your patients
- Lead wellness initiatives and group fitness classes to encourage healthy habits and social engagement among patients
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff to support optimal patient outcomes and quality care
- Educate patients and families about strategies to improve independence and better quality of life
- Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
- Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors

- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- Active or pending state license to practice occupational therapy
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence based patient care
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience or interest in geriatrics, with skills in adaptive equipment and ADL training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
