Job Title: Project Architect

Salary:$87,000.00 to $134,000.00
Duties :
- Prepares or has prepared, plans and specifications for work to be performed by contractor or in-house forces, assuring that preferred architectural and engineering design features are incorporated, and that preliminary drawings are thoroughly coordinated and reviewed by all stakeholders to assure that all requirements are included. Arranges for review of working drawings and gains final approval from stakeholders and senior administration before plans and specifications are finalized.
- Prepares detailed project budgets tied to actual designs and past cost experience for similar work. Estimates material and other resources needed and determines sources, availability and prices. Works with outside estimators when necessary to ensure budget estimates are realistic and all inclusive.
- Continually monitors projects during the construction phase and works directly with the AHJ inspectors to assure that plans and specifications are followed. For time and material projects, inspects work to assure that specifications are being followed, and quality work is being performed.
