We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet and welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and professional first impression of the office.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Demonstrate proficiency in using EHR systems, such as Practice Fusion, to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and update medical information accurately.
- Phone Management: Handle incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel and providing accurate information to patients.
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal use of the office's schedule.
- Front Desk Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area to contribute to a welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks, such as verifying insurance, handling billing inquiries, and managing office supplies, to support smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or front desk role is preferred.
- EHR Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems, particularly Practice Fusion or similar platforms.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service: Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and ensuring a positive experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and phone systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in medical office administration is a plus.
