Fusion Recruiters , in partnership with their client Leer , are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented National Sales Manager to join their growing team. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for cultivating and managing client relationships, driving new business, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals. This position is 100% remote , with the ability to travel 50% of the time.

Leer provides temperature-controlled storage solutions to the retail, food service, scientific, and packaged ice industries. They go to market via independent food service representatives, dealers, distributors, and direct customer relationships. The ideal candidate has retail customer development experience, with cold storage or refrigeration sales experience being a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The National Sales Manager is responsible for direct and indirect sales of Leer products. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and understanding evolving needs.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • New Business Development :
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Leer’s solutions.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning :
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the sales team and management.

  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
  • Sales Quota Achievement :
  • Set and achieve annual sales targets by product and / or customer.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Leer’s solutions.
  • Proposal and Contract Negotiation :
  • Prepare persuasive sales proposals tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback and improve overall customer experience.
  • Industry Representation :
  • Represent Leer at industry trade association meetings to generate new customers and grow business opportunities with current customers.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred;relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the retail, refrigeration, or scientific industries, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales or account management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proven project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets;self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
