Saw Operator
Position Summary
This individual will be responsible for cutting parts using CNC and manual saws to customer prints. This will involve operating a fork lift to move parts to the proper departments. The individual will have to use of a variety of hand tools electrical and mechanical, to polishing or grinding.
Position Status
This position is a full-time hourly job which reports directly to the shop supervisor.
Qualifications
Educations and Experience
High School or GED diploma – minimum, 2 year technical or trade school degree a plus, applied testing will given to set pay scale.
Competencies
Good communication skills both written and oral
Ability to adjust to changes in schedules with little notice
Strong print interpretation skills
Must be able to read a tape measure
Ability to operate fork-trucks
Operation of various hand tools including: grinders, portable band saws, air tools, wrenches – just to name a few
Listens and follows directions
Physical Requirements
Moderate physical effort involving standing, bending, reaching and handling materials up to 50 lbs
Work in hot, cold and noisy environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control of various materials
Print interpretation
Transfer of parts from various work areas via fork truck
Communication with supervisor and co workers
Work Conditions and Environment
Our normal hours of business are Sunday thru Thursday 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. . – 5 days per week based on a 40 hour work week. Normal shop conditions involving heat, cold, dirt and noise.
Will train on days 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday,

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
