Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect our organization’s assets and information. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that our security measures are effective and up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Conduct regular assessments of existing security measures and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security protocols into computer networking infrastructure.
- Provide technical support as a service technician for security system installations and maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and computer hardware for the installation and repair of security equipment.
- Train staff on the proper use of security systems and protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security system designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in security system design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles.
- Experience with IDS technologies and their applications in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and related safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience as a service technician in the field of security systems.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools for equipment installation and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
