Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and optimize daily truckloads based on freight demand and routing efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouses, dispatchers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of shipments
- Maximize trailer utilization and reduce costs through strategic load planning
- Maintain accurate records in our Transportation Management System (TMS) and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, and cost
Requirements:
- ~2 years of experience in logistics, transportation planning, or freight operations (3PL experience a plus)
- ~ Strong understanding of routing, carrier networks, and transportation best practices
- ~ Proficient in TMS software and Microsoft Excel
- ~ Sharp problem-solving and multitasking skills
- ~ Strong communicator with a high attention to detail
- ~ Team player with a get-it-done attitude
