Local Class B Driver

Job Description:

We are growing rapidly and are looking to add a Septic Driver with a Class B license, including Tanker and Airbrake endorsements, to our team. We are excited to connect with you!
As our Septic Driver, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining septic tanks, port-a-potties, hand wash stations, hand sanitizer stations, and other related services. The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work with a shovel, and the capability to drag septic hoses to tanks.

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Travels to worksite, transporting materials, equipment, and occasionally other staff.
• Flushes, empties, and cleans units; performs other services required to maintain or repair units, tanks, and system.
• Cleans and disinfects areas affected by sewage.
• Deliver or pick up units on route.
• Requests and/or orders necessary supplies and equipment.
• Meet all safety standards by abiding by all transportation laws, company policies, and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Updates maps and routes assigned, providing feedback to routing team.
• Weekend & evening hours may be required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of equipment, units, trucks, and repair.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures without constant or regular supervision.
• Ability to communicate with dispatch, customers, and leadership.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid class B driver's license and 3 yrs clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years old

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather.
• Must be able to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl as required to access units.
• Able to remain focused and alert while driving for extended periods of time.
• Able to handle strong odors.
