We are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in Connecticut. In this role, you will collaborate on a variety of projects, including land development, urban infill and redevelopment, municipal initiatives, mixed-use commercial and residential developments, educational facilities, permitting, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Design & Development - Prepare detailed site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and erosion & sediment control plans to support a variety of land development and municipal projects.
- Site Planning & Documentation - Assist in the creation of comprehensive site plans and technical details, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stormwater Management Design - Develop stormwater management systems, including detention, retention, and infiltration solutions, to ensure environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.
- Field Assessments & Site Inspections - Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather field data, and provide technical support for design and construction activities.
- Construction Oversight - Monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and coordinate with contractors, project managers, and regulatory agencies.
- Permitting & Regulatory Compliance - Assist in preparing permit applications, technical reports, and regulatory documentation to facilitate project approvals and compliance with environmental regulations.
