Job Role: Cognos BI Developer/ Architect/ Lead

Location: Chicago, IL- 3 days in office

Pay Rate: $70-$75/hr. on C2C

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to design, develop, and lead report and dashboard delivery for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Architect complex solutions based on custom client requirements.
• Lead and support developers in building and maintaining reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
• Analyze business requirements to design and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand information needs and provide insights.
• Provide technical support to end-users regarding report and dashboard issues.
• Participate in project planning, offering input into solution design and development processes.

Experience Level:

• Senior

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, and SaaS Business Intelligence tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with experience writing complex queries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to quickly grasp complex business processes.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript and CSS.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
