**POSITION DESCRIPTION**
This position ensures product compliance with customer requirements, provides technical support for manufacturing and welding processes, creates and monitors quality documentation, and analyzes and implements effective countermeasures for customer complaints.
**Job Duties Include:**
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and making recommendations.
- Responding to customer complaints through process investigations and problem-solving techniques.
- Conducting root cause analysis utilizing tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams.
- Coordinating and performing internal process and product audits.
- Conducting scrap analysis for quality improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitoring PPMs daily and implementing corrective actions to maintain KPIs within target levels.
- Analyzing Spot Weld and MIG weld processes for decision-making and process improvement.
- Interacting and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous process improvement.
- Monitoring corrective actions and problem-solving efforts related to suppliers.
- Maintaining supplier performance metrics.
- Supporting training for all quality-related procedures and methods.
- Calibrating and monitoring measuring equipment.
**EDUCATION, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE**
- 3 to 5 years of related job experience.
- 2 to 5 years of Quality Management System (QMS) experience.
- 2 to 5 years of IATF 16949 experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PFMEA and Quality Control plans.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with Control Charts, CPK, and PPK methodologies.
- Experience with measurement tools.
- Capability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Willingness to support night shifts as needed.
- Basic to advanced computer skills.
**PREFERRED SKILLS (But not required)**
- Knowledge of TS16949 standards.
- Familiarity with Toyota QIMS.
- Certified Engineer or Auditor qualifications.
- Six Sigma experience.
