POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position responsible for ensuring required build numbers are met daily. Oversees section leaders, team leaders, and team members.
- Responsible for ensuring employees meet safety standards. Involved in training, scheduling and coaching team members. Also responsible for completing performance reviews.
- Involved in disciplining employees when necessary. Ensures that orders are completed on time.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction. Create bad flow-out preventative measures. Create standardized work instructions for machines.
- The position is also responsible for ensuring employee participation in the Kaizen program.
EDUCATION, SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or some college
- Production planning equipment
- Memorization, organizing, planning
- Ability to supervise employees
- Ability to work long hours, with out supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
This position requires regular and reliable attendance to meet production needs. This position requires following all ISO 14001 and TS16949 standards. This position also requires compliance with quality standards at all times.
All employees are responsible for wearing all the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) necessary for the tasks they are performing and/or the location of the building they are located in. All employees are required to perform any job, task, or duty assigned to them, whether or not it is directly related to their specific job title.
