Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and flexible Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will work closely with our partners, handling a variety of legal matters, primarily focusing on litigation. Your responsibilities will include court appearances, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and engaging with clients. Additionally, there will be opportunities to expand your expertise in transactional real estate, tax assessment appeals, and estate planning, depending on your interests and background. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and eager to embrace new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate cases from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Represent clients in court, attending hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft detailed legal memoranda.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
- Collaborate with partners to develop case strategies and legal solutions.
- Assist with real estate transactions, tax assessment appeals, and estate planning as required.
- Ensure that all legal work and client service consistently meet the highest standards of excellence.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, real estate, or related legal fields.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience in handling court appearances and managing a caseload independently.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
