Role Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Harvey, IL. This is a full-time, on-site position dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families in need. The therapist will be responsible for treatment planning, social work, case management, mental health counseling, and family therapy. This role will focus on delivering effective, client-centered support to help individuals manage mental health challenges and improve overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide individual therapy and counseling to clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Offer family therapy sessions to address relational and behavioral dynamics.
- Provide social work and case management services, including connecting clients with community resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and case files.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and treatment adjustments.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and healthcare systems.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in mental health counseling, case management, and family therapy.
- Experience in social work and familiarity with community resources and services.
- Experience working in a mental health or counseling setting is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
