We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Design, construct, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Utilize CAM programming software to create machining programs for CNC equipment.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Employ precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) as needed for tool creation and repair.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling and production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing tooling components.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machining equipment.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their applications in quality control.
- Solid math skills for accurate calculations related to machining processes.
- Experience with programming CNC machines is highly desirable.
