Duties :
Responsible for operating CT Scanners to produce detailed images of patients internal organs / tissues. Also repsonsible for preparing patients for procedures, ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain accurate records.
Skills :
Require strong technical, communication and critical skills.
Knowledge of computed tomography equipment, radiation safety and patient positioning.
Education :
A minimum of an associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field, along with specialized training in CT imaging.
Certification through organizations such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is also commonly required.
