What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Futren Hospitality?
The Futren Hospitality is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations across multiple entities.
This position will be responsible for assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes including but not limited to- review weekly invoices, preparation of weekly operating statement, payroll processing, account receivables, bank reconciliations, financial statements and provide backup support to the Accounting Assistants. This work involves heavy data entry, the maintenance of various account records, and routine problem solving. The employee in this position must be able to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in the performance of all daily tasks.

· Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting
· Good human relations skills evidenced by both verbal and written
communications
· Excellent data entry with an eye for details
· Self-directed, results-oriented work style and anticipate/avoid problems
· High degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
· Poise and well-groomed to meet company standards in the private sector
· Ability to lift heavy boxes ranging up to 50 pounds
Education, Experience, and Training:
Accounting Degree is required. (Either Associates or Bachelor’s), minimum of 2 years in accounting field, hospitality/private club experience preferred, ability to multitask, detailed oriented, excellent computer software skills (Jonas and Sage HRMS software a plus), self-motivation, and ability to set priorities and meet various deadlines.
