What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Futron Incorporated?

Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Security Clearance: Mandatory current and active Secret Level Federal U.S. government clearance.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent preferred experience with Federal construction projects.
3. Skills and Abilities:
- The contractor shall provide superintendents and other supplemental staff as described in the contract documents or as necessary to perform the work within the timelines and quality standards specified.
- Knowledge, skill, and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
- Study plans and specifications to plan procedures for construction.
- Determine crew size and assemble crew for work.
- Releases material orders for timely delivery to job-site.
- Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction.
- Communicate with all parties to resolve construction issues and improve construction methods.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms with plans and schedule.
4. Other Requirements: Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties in varying climates. Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
5, Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position. Additional benefits and compensation package is included.
