We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to collaborate with a hyper-scale data center company as the owner’s representative. This role will oversee developers and general contractors, ensuring the successful execution of industry-leading data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align client team objectives with on-site developer progress to ensure project goals are met.
- Coordinate with the client's operations teams—including security, IT, engineering, and risk management—to maintain project objectives.
- Track lessons learned and implement improvements across teams and projects.
- Identify and manage stakeholder dependencies and construction deliverables.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain project momentum.
- Administer the Lease Contract from inception through construction and project closeout.
- Interface with local building authorities to secure permits and coordinate project closeout.
- Oversee construction scheduling and sequencing, anticipate long-lead items, and identify critical paths.
- Enforce on-site health and safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Owner, Architect, and Construction Management (CM) meetings, including meeting minutes distribution.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and enforce safety best practices.
- Review job site progress to ensure quality and compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Provide senior leadership with updates on cost, schedule, risk, and quality considerations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Experience in hyper-scale data center projects is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction process, management techniques, and materials.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
