Job Title: Investment Associate – Multi-Family Office Investment Fund
Location: Miami, FL or San Juan, PR (or able to commute two weeks a month to Puerto Rico)

Position Summary:
The Investment Associate will work directly with the Managing Partner to support all aspects of the investment process, from deal sourcing and evaluation to execution and portfolio management. This individual will play a critical role in research, financial analysis, transaction structuring, and ongoing monitoring of investments. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to late-stage equity and debt investments across various sectors while working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities within the lower and middle market.
- Conduct in-depth industry, market, and financial research to identify attractive investment prospects.
- Develop detailed financial models, including projections, valuations, and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, conducting interviews, and analyzing market trends.
- Support transaction structuring and negotiation efforts alongside the Managing Partner.
- Monitor existing investments, including analyzing financial performance and providing regular reporting updates.
- Maintain databases and tracking systems to monitor potential investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies, industry professionals, and external advisors.
- Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar field.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.
- Strong interest in late-stage equity and debt investments across diverse sectors.
