The Role
We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy and build out our sales organization, focusing on mid-market to enterprise AI teams, particularly in the Bay Area. This role will be instrumental in scaling our revenue operations and establishing FutureAGI as the leading AI Tool.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team, delivering against aggressive targets while developing top talent
- Drive predictable revenue growth through strategic sales processes, pipeline management, and POC oversight
- Establish and iterate on sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, POC oversight, and forecasting, to drive consistent and predictable results.
- Hire and develop top sales talent aligned with our connect/challenge/own company values, identifying the highest leverage coaching opps for each rep and developing plan to address
- Own key operational metrics including pipeline growth, sales cycle length, and close rates
- Establish sales forecasting and reporting frameworks to provide insights to leadership
- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning within the sales team
- Travel 50-70% to meet clients and prospects across the Bay Area and US
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine value proposition
- Build strategic partnerships and represent FutureAGI at industry events
- 8 years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 4 years in a senior sales leadership role
- 2 years work experience with Venture backed startup, early-stage company.
- Comfort working with remote teams
- Proven track record of selling technical products to software teams or AI/ML teams and engineering organizations
- Deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape with its Tooling-layer and infrastructure challenges
- Experience scaling sales teams from early stage to mature organization
- Strong network within the Bay Area tech ecosystem
- Demonstrated success in closing deals $20K-200K ARR
- Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers in a high-growth startup environment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications); advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Be at the forefront of AI tooling layer innovation, helping shape how companies build and scale AI products
