WHAT DO YOU DO?
You normally work 40 hours per week, but full- and part-time schedules are open for discussion.
As a Diagnostic Automotive Technician, your problem-solving skills and attention to detail are key to your success. You're responsible for running vehicle diagnostics, recording your observations, and communicating results with your team. You also get to roll up your sleeves and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Here are the minimum requirements:
- 5 years of automotive experience
- ASE certification
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work on site
These preferred qualifications aren't necessary, but they'll give you a leg up over other applicants:
- 10 years of related experience
- ASE Master certification
- Desire to advance professionally and potentially become the shop foreman
- Problem-solving skills, ability to meet timelines, team spirit, and motivation to do your best
