Floater Teacher Assistant

Job Overview

Responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans that promote learning and development in young children. They foster an engaging and nurturing classroom environment. Assist in cultivating a biblical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate hands-on learning and play-based activities
• Track and assess child development progress
• Establish positive relationships with children and parents
• Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
• Supervise and care for toddlers during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with educators to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
• Foster strong relationships with students to encourage their emotional and social development.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A genuine passion for educating young learners and supporting their growth in a nurturing environment.
• Experience in a childcare or preschool setting
• Patience, creativity, and strong classroom management skills
• Some Biblical understanding

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.93 - $15.94 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
