What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Department position at Future Care Consultants?
This is an on-site office position. We're looking for someone bright, motivated, detail oriented and have a willingness to learn. One year experience is required.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and maintain employee benefits records
- Work closely with our Benefits Administrator on all aspects of enrollment and disenrollment of employees in health insurance, life insurance, etc.
- Manage benefit plans, including employee enrollments and life event changes for Health, Life Insurance, and other benefits.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal and state laws as applicable to benefit administration
- Distribute required benefits notices to new employees
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong aptitude working with numbers and proficiency with Excel
- High School Diploma or GED
- The ability to multi-task and in a complex, fast-paced work environment with accuracy.
- Must have one year experience working in employee benefits
- Knowledge of health/life insurance and other employee benefits
- Understanding US employment laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion'
- Excited about learning new challenges and handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
