Future Energy Enterprises, LLC, (FutEE) is seeking a highly motivated engineer who is interested in collaborating with a statewide team of engineers to gather, analyze and summarize information related to existing and new Clean Energy Technologies. The position will involve gathering and reviewing research reports, cost data and other relevant information. The information will be used to seek regulatory approval of the technologies and also by market actors to decide whether to offer the technologies to customers to help them save energy and carbon. Effectively and efficiently researching, understanding, synthesizing, communicating, and documenting a variety of informaiton would make an individual successful in this role.

All information that the engineer gathers, analyzes and organizes will be housed in the California electronic Technical Reference Manual (eTRM), an online database that contains a robust suite of Clean Tech measures available to the market. The eTRM is a state-of-the art, best-in-class platform that ensures the accuracy, transparency, and accessibility information.

Desired Background

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Willing to communicate issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Familiarity with databases would be beneficial

Required Experience

  • Mid-level engineer, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ability to work with Excel files
