Future Fence Company, founded in 1979, is the largest installer of commercial fence in the state of Michigan and is focused on future growth. Our team of skilled craftsmen build some of the Midwest's most interesting ornamental architectural metal products for bridges, buildings and streetscapes out of a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, stainless and bronze.
Position Summary: Reporting the Bid Procurement Lead the Bid Procurement Specialist is responsible for scouting and sourcing contracts for the company to bid on. Working closely with department estimators, the Bid Procurement Specialist will identify and assist with all aspects of securing a contract.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Identify potential projects for bid and compiles list of material requirements.
- Coordinate receipt of all required information for the preparation of final quotation submittal.
- Communicate with department estimators to ensure quotes and resulting orders are complete.
- Identifying new business opportunities by monitoring public and private sector tender portals.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files, records of communication and pricing information.

Qualifications / Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with preferred
- Must have demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
