Future Fence Company, founded in 1979, is the largest installer of commercial fence in the state of Michigan and is focused on future growth. Our team of skilled craftsmen build some of the Midwest's most interesting ornamental architectural metal products for bridges, buildings and streetscapes out of a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, stainless and bronze.
Position Summary: Reporting the Project Manager the Project Estimators will be responsible for the management of project related jobs across various construction sectors.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Communicate concisely with multiple customers in a bid meeting environment.
- Create project estimates and analysis of subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Perform material take-off and quantity survey.
- Develop material and subcontract pricing for estimates.
- Produce complete estimates for final approval incorporating quantity take off, labor standards, subcontract, and materials pricing.
- Evaluate contract changes for estimating cost impact.
- Evaluate contract changes for estimating cost impact, and measure estimate vs. actual performance evaluations.

Qualifications / Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bluebeam take off software experience a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of construction estimating and project management.
- Ability to read and understand various types of project drawings and specifications.
