Overview
- This is a full-time, on-site, first shift position with a semi-flexible start time.
- Location: Future Foam Innovation Center at 8155 Cook Street, Montague, Michigan.
- You will be a key person on a small team that is focused on the research and development of polyurethane foam technologies.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills that align with a professional environment. You will possess interpersonal skills to collaborate with the internal technical team and build relationships with customers, suppliers, and regional teams.
Office Generalist (60% of role)
- Manage PO system, project spend tracking and invoice processing
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Maintain sensitive files and records
- Maintain chemical inventory and cycle counts
- Coordinate the interviews and onboarding of new hires
- Manage time card reports with a high level of accuracy
- Work with the corporate HR department as applicable
- Manage occasional food orders, event activities and visitor travel
- Manage site visitor check-in and logbook
Safety Program Administrator (40% of role)
- Work directly with site Engineers to maintain safety procedures and practices
- Manage all safety documentation and periodic reviews
- Draft new safety documentation
- Interface with Corporate Safety Group on new requirements or updates
- Coordinate and administer safety trainings
- Order and maintain site safety supplies
Qualifications
- 3 years of office generalist experience in a professional environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient with an Email system
- Proficient in PDF modification and Docusign
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience with safety documentation
- Demonstrated experience with industrial safety standards, best practices, etc.
- OSHA specific training is a plus
- An Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus
- Marketing skills is a plus
- Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus

Range to be posted:
Hourly Pay Range: $22 – 26 /hr.
