Future Foam has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Control Manager at its new facility in Tupelo, MS. This is a hands on position and reports to the Plant Manager.

Position purpose
Manage the Quality Systems and Pourline Scheduling efforts of the Tupelo Plant
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
· Manage all aspects of quality testing including overseeing lab personnel in duties of sample cutting, testing and reporting of test results in compliance to ASTM D3574 and Cal TB117 standards using specifications outlined by company and customer requirements.
· Coordinate and implement the use of external (3rd party) lab testing on a periodic or as-needed basis to ensure accuracy and compliance to standards and customer expectations.
· Manage the plant Quality Management System (QMS) including standard work, process improvement, document control, corrective and preventive actions, nonconforming product, quality test records, foam SKU target parameter data, equipment and facility CAD drawings, and test equipment calibrations.
· Liaison and communicate with external customers and Future Foam personnel as needed concerning customer requirements and specifications, customer complaints, and sharing of quality test results.
· Audit and evaluate processes as needed to ensure conformance to standard work, customer and legal/ regulatory requirements.
· Oversee pour scheduling and collect and analyze data to predict foam demand and schedule optimization
· Work with corporate Quality and Safety functions to maintain a standard system of document control and SOPs.
Special Position Requirements
· Travel on an as needed basis
· Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Standards preferred
· Understanding of the body of knowledge of ASQ CQE preferred
· Understanding of the body of knowledge of ASQ LSSBB preferred
