We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Automotive General Manager to lead our dealership and ensure its continued growth and success.

    We are seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to oversee all dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance departments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background with a focus on profitability, customer satisfaction, and team development. As a key member of the management team, the Automotive General Manager will be responsible for setting and executing business strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining a positive working environment.

    Pay Scale : Salary of $6,000 - $15,000 a month with bonus opportunities based on department performance and other factors.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Leadership & Management : Lead, manage, and mentor all department heads (sales, service, parts, finance) to ensure effective teamwork and high employee engagement.
    • Operational Oversight : Manage day-to-day dealership operations to meet or exceed business objectives, including customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and cost control.
    • Financial Performance : Develop and execute strategies to meet budgetary and financial goals, manage profit and loss (P&L) statements, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Customer Satisfaction : Ensure an outstanding customer experience by setting high standards for service, quality, and response time across all departments.
    • Compliance & Regulations : Ensure the dealership operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including California labor laws and industry standards.
    • Sales & Marketing Strategy : Work with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, drive new and repeat business, and collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns.
    • Inventory & Supply Chain Management : Oversee inventory levels, parts management, and relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
    • Staff Training & Development : Provide ongoing training to staff to promote continuous improvement and professional growth.
    • Qualifications :

    • Proven experience as a General Manager or in senior management within the automotive industry.
    • Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and achieving financial targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to create a positive company culture that prioritizes teamwork, excellence, and customer satisfaction.
    • Knowledge of California labor laws and compliance regulations.
    • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
    • A valid sales license.
    • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred.
