**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team, and teach in their respective fields (Dance, Yoga, Photography, Film, Theatre, Creative Writing, Visual Arts, Culinary Arts, Language Arts, Martial Arts etc). Future Hearts, Minds & Dreamers (FHMD) is proud to be offering arts enrichment programming in person or online to our youth and seniors in our community. We provide wholesome and proven arts enrichment programming. Our teachers are working fully qualified professionals in their respective mediums who have a passion to guide the emerging, ever-absorbing minds of today’s youth and seniors. Future Hearts, Minds & Dreamers provides flexible scheduling, and works with each site to fit the well-defined and unique needs of the participants. Students learn through exploration, practical knowledge, and self-reflection. Our classes combine hands-on ensemble experiences with knowledge-based teaching. Our class offerings are designed to provide an array of subject matter, with the ultimate objective of reaching the full creative potential of each participant in our program. FHMD’s class curriculum is designed specifically for the age group in which we are serving by the teaching artist. FHMD operates anywhere we have a teaching artist, and our presence can be found in: California, Arizona, Colorado, Philadelphia, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Minnesota, Georgia, Maryland, Washington D.C. New Jersey, New York, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Missouri, Massachusetts, Illinois, Connecticut, Arkansas, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, & Oregon.
You will need to provide a list of classes that you feel comfortable teaching. You may choose from a list of classes that we already offer, or you may design your own. At any point you can change or alter your classes and descriptions. Please include the ages your class is focused on serving. We encourage our instructors to teach ages Prek-5th, for these ages tend to be the more profitable and popular classes. Though we do serve 6th-12th, it is not common, and classes tend to be part of their elective programs, 2 days a week. We also serve the 50 population, and can accommodate remote and in person classes.
Once an instructor is on board, and a class is booked, we will send you the official class offering via email. You must accept the offer, negotiate the offer or deny the offer within 24hrs. We might be asking other instructors to teach the same class, so the class will go to whoever accepts first. We do not guarantee work, but we don’t stop trying to get you booked for classes, until you tell us to stop.
Sessions are typically 6-10 weeks, one hour a week (PreK is 45 mins.-Pay Rate is the same). Sessions follow the school calendar year. (Fall, Winter, Spring) We do serve Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer camps as well!
Once we have received a resume, you will be invited to fill out an application; from there, we will reach out to you to set up a quick Zoom chat. This way we can see if FHMD is a good fit for you.
