Program Driver - Per Diem/Part Time

Future In Sight seeks a per diem driver in the Concord, NH area to provide transportation and sighted guide assistance* to our blind and visually impaired employees and clients to scheduled meetings, presentations and events throughout the state. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to early mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Transport staff members and clients in a safe and professional manner.
• Assist staff or clients with navigating various environments using sighted-guide assistance as necessary.
• Coordinate and communicate with staff to execute drive assignments.
• Complete and submit travel logs, expense reports and other documents as requested in a timely fashion.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of presentations as needed.
• Capable of understanding directions and reading maps.
• Perform all related duties as assigned by Future In Sight.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Maintain vehicle insurance coverage with minimums of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident for Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability
• Clean New Hampshire criminal background check
• Good driving record

*Training on the sighted-guide technique will be provided

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
