Construction Equipment Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various heavy equipment on construction sites (Trackhoe, Dozer, Tractor, Loader, Roller),. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, front loaders, dump trucks, and dozers on construction sites.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to execute tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
• Assist in building site preparation and material handling as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with backhoes, front loaders, dump trucks, and cranes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are a plus.
• Previous experience on construction sites.
• pay rate is based on experience and proficiency.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
