Future Leaders of Tomorrow (FLT) is hiring active NYS-licensed special education and literacy teachers to work as SETSS providers for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The students are in elementary and middle schools; they attend nonpublic schools. Providers are needed for schools in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Fingerprint clearance will be required by the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) to do this job. Currently, providers are needed for IN-PERSON work ONLY at schools. However, some remote services may be available for homeschooled / after school students.
FYI : The company does not offer SEIT services (birth to preschool), ONLY SETSS for grades K-12.

Therefore, former or current NYCDOE employees (classroom teachers, paras, substitute teachers, etc.) must wait until they have stopped working with them for a full year (12 months) before they can apply for this position
- New licensed special education / literacy graduates are encouraged to apply
- Retired special education / literacy teachers are encouraged to apply
- FLT offers competitive hourly rates of $45 / hr to 60 / hr that will be commensurate with experience
The providers will work with students one-on-one and / or in small groups (2 to 3 students). Flexible schedules are available. All providers will be hired as W-2 employees. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
The NYCDOE requires providers to maintain a consistent weekly schedule with their students. Therefore, the organization seeks providers to commit to their students for the full school year (June).
