What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Event Staff position at Future Media Concepts?
Event hosts play a crucial role in ensuring our corporate events and technical training conferences run in a smooth and efficient manner. As Event hosts fulfill an essential role in the delivery of our events, we make sure to give back to them by providing them with valuable, career-advancing benefits. Post|Production World will provide hosts with a first-hand insight into what it takes to produce an in-person event.
Responsibilities:
- Be on-site at the Las Vegas Convention Center, or nearby workshop location, for the entire conference (roughly 7:00 am – 6:00 pm) from April 3-9, 2025.
- Monitor Conference Rooms
- Checking attendee badges
- Handing out and collecting evaluations
- Make sure instructors are set up for their session
- Report any tech issues to your supervisor
- Resetting the conference room between sessions
- Providing customer service to attendees when needed
Event Staff Compensation:
While Event Staff are volunteers who will not receive an hourly compensation, FMC provides the following benefits to Event Staff:

- Roundtrip airfare / travel per diem to Las Vegas.
