Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to identify and engage potential sponsors for our podcasts.
- Research and analyze brands that align with the target audiences and themes of our podcasts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential sponsor companies.
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals that highlight the value of partnering with our podcasts.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the sponsors and the podcast team.
- Work closely with podcast hosts and producers to integrate sponsor messages seamlessly into episodes.
- Track and report on sponsorship performance and client satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on trends in podcast sponsorships, advertising, and the broader digital media landscape.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while adhering to the values and vision of the podcast network.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or sponsorship acquisition, preferably in the podcast, media, or advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of podcast audience metrics and how to communicate their value to sponsors.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Proficiency in creating proposals and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking leads and deals is a plus.
- Passion for podcasts and a deep understanding of the industry.
