We are looking for a passionate Assistant Social Media Editor to join our social team and help bring our content to life in exciting and engaging ways.
What you'll be doing
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Social Media Editor to support the social team in New York. Reporting to the Social Media Director, you will focus on capturing live events, securing exclusive footage, managing social media scheduling, and writing compelling social copy. You’ll help divide the responsibilities of the team, working with social editors and managers to ensure execution and consistent messaging across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- At least 2 years experience in social media management, content creation, or event coverage.
- Writing skills, with a focus on creating engaging and concise copy that resonates with audiences on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
- An understanding of social media platforms and content creation tools
- Comfortable with live event environments and capturing spontaneous, high-quality content.
- Comfortable with social media management tools and basic video / photo editing software.
