Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT service programs, including onsite user support, hardware/software management, and IT equipment deployment.
- Oversee day-to-day IT support operations, ensuring timely issue resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Manage IT service delivery, including order processing, system imaging, and application installation.
- Ensure service quality meets defined SLAs and industry best practices.
- Supervise and develop IT support teams, including field technicians and service desk staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance end-user support and service efficiency.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software, ensuring compliance with NRC, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational teams to align services with organizational objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Ensure adherence to nuclear industry regulations and cybersecurity standards, performing regular audits for compliance and security vulnerabilities.
- Develop training programs and knowledge management resources to improve IT service effectiveness.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to optimize IT service delivery.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on service performance and improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
- 7 years of IT support experience, including 3 years in a managerial or program management role.
- Experience in regulated or high-security environments, such as nuclear, energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure.
- Strong background in IT service management, user support, and field services.
- ITIL certification preferred; PMP or relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CISSP) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with NRC, NIST, and ISO 27001 regulations and compliance standards related to IT security and operations.
