FTI is in search of a Business Development & Capture Manager to join our team. The Business Development & Capture Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and securing new business opportunities within the Navy, Defense, and Intelligence sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development :

  • Support the development and execution of business development strategies, including research, pipeline tracking, and opportunity identification
  • Assist Sr. Leadership in preparing and attending client engagements, including briefing materials, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions
  • Facilitate communication between BD teams and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with planning and coordinating participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen relationships and identify leads
  • Coordinate external stakeholder relationships (customers, acquisitions, industry etc.) with business development and operations leads.

Capture Management :

  • Lead capture efforts for key opportunities, including proposal development, teaming arrangements, and competitive analysis.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop win strategies.
  • Facilitate solution development by working closely with technical teams to create compelling, customer-focused proposals
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning
  • Track and report progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
  • Strategic Analysis :

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Develop and present business cases and strategies to leadership.
  • Track and manage business development pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience in business development, capture management, or a related role
  • Proven knowledge / track record of bidding and winning programs supporting U.S Federal Government opportunities
  • Demonstrated success (knowledge & capturing / winning) with opportunities supporting the DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • Strong understanding of government acquisition processes
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Existing relationships within the Navy, Defense, and / or Intelligence Community.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
