Job Overview
The Director of Nursing position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of nursing care within a healthcare facility. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Duties
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate patient records, including MDS assessments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the healthcare industry
- Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and assess the quality of nursing care provided
- Participate in strategic planning to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
