Job Description
As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant at FutureCare, your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting nursing staff with completion of daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, oral care)
Performing vital signs on residents at the beginning of each shift and as directed
Answering calls for assistance and observing changes in residents' behavior, emotional state, or physical condition
Completing required documentation in a timely manner
Transporting residents as needed
Providing companionship to residents
Ensuring the safety of our residents
Assisting with motivating residents to stay active and engaged
Qualifications:
Hold a current certification and GNA license in Maryland
Possess a positive and professional attitude
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
