Tool & Die Machinist

FutureFuel Chemical Company in Batesville, Arkansas, is looking for a new member for our mechanical maintenance team that specializes in Machining.

 

The Machinist works under the supervision of a Maintenance & Reliability Team Manager and performs a wide variety of skilled mechanical machining work. He/she is self-directed to manage the day-to-day work load of the machine shop.  Job duties involve:

 

The Machinist uses BobCAD CNC software to program HAAS CNC milling machines. Because most documentation for work orders and cost systems is maintained in computer systems, requires the use of Gmail, LINUS, and SAP systems to enter and retrieve this data daily. Must satisfactorily pass a respirator fit test and be capable of working near rotating and moving machinery. Applicant chosen for this assignment much successfully complete the Mechanical Maintenance Helper II Training Program or equivalent. Completion of the FutureFuel Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship Program is desired. Responding to occasional emergency and planned callouts is an expectation. 

 

This is a safety sensitive position.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3-years’ Machining experience. Aptitude testing is required for this position and applicants must successfully achieve Silver level on the Arkansas Career Readiness Certification OR have passed the FutureFuel/Eastman pre-employment tests for Operations and Maintenance (Reading Comprehension, Troubleshooting, Graphic Arithmetic, Background and Work Interests Inventory, Assembly, Mechanical Comprehension).
