Position: General Laborer
Location: Auburn, Maine

Company Overview:
Futureguard Building Products Inc. is a dynamic and rapidly growing national manufacturer specializing in awnings and sunscreen room systems. We provide products under multiple brand labels, including Summerspace, NuImage Outdoors, and GuardRite. Our production facility includes powder coating, CNC milling, sewing, roll-forming, glass cutting and tempering, and product assembly. Our sales force operates regionally to serve our nationwide dealer network.

Position Summary:
As a General Laborer in our facility, you will support various stages of the production process including assembly, material handling, packing, and quality checks. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the assembly and production process.

· Load and unload materials and finished products.

· Operate hand tools and basic machinery.

· Perform quality checks to ensure adherence to safety and product standards.

· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.

· Support team members and supervisors as needed.

Qualifications:

· Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields preferred.

· Experience with tape measure and powered hand tools preferred.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Safely lift 75-100 pounds consistently.
• Ability to stand for the whole shift.
• Able to pass a successful background investigation and physical exam.

Schedule:

• Regular hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
• Overtime as required.
