Class IV Wastewater Operator/Plant Manager- Full Time
Location: Florence, MS, 39073
What you will be doing:

Manage the operations of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices.

Oversee sampling and testing systems, and the functionality of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other treatment plant equipment.

Ensure that the wastewater quality meets or exceeds all state and federal regulatory requirements.

Ensure staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines.

Manage subordinate staff in their day-to-day performance.

Procure supplies and equipment needed to maintain plant operations.

Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
Experience you will need:

Must be a Certified Class IV Operator.

Preferred candidate should have five (5) years' experience operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment plant with a minimum volume of 5 MGD.
