Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year institution.

4 years of experience with a PE license.

Strong understanding of local governmental codes and regulations.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and project management software.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Job Description
-
Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.

Attend client meetings, planning commission meetings, and city council meetings.

Review compliance conditions of approval for subdivision improvements and proposed developments.

Manage projects from initiation to completion.

Use Civil 3D Pipe Networks for stormwater, sanitary, and water mains design.

Conduct field assessments of existing infrastructure and oversee construction observations.

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling.

Assist with site grading, shop drawing review, and preparation of technical reports.

Help with permit applications and priority project deadlines.

Review and approve corrected plans and provide subdivision and site development program procedures information.

Coordinate work with engineers, contractors, architects, property owners, developers, and City staff.

Confer with stakeholders on project questions, revisions, and progress.

Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Prepare special engineering studies and reports.
