Speech Language Pathologist- Full-Time
Location: Lansing, MI, 48933
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a major in Speech & Language Pathology (or related field).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
- Commitment to Lansing School District's mission and vision.
- 5 years of experience working with children, their families, and their school support systems (preferred).
- Experience working with a diverse population of students in an urban school setting (preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and attend IEP meetings, write IEPs as needed, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Conduct REEDs to evaluate students.
- Submit all required reports, data, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Schedule and deliver speech and/or language instruction to a caseload of students.
- Coordinate and provide consultative services to general education teachers, parents, and other special education staff in the areas of speech and language.
- Perform other tasks as needed in order to best serve Lansing students.
