The ideal candidate will have:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required. - Unless otherwise approved, BS, BA or MA in Architecture / Engineering from an accredited educational program.
- Must have demonstrated competency in the subjects of Building and Accessibility Codes.
- Participates in continuing education programs to maintain competency in current and changing codes, technologies, materials and procedures.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in procedures for production of design development and construction documents, architectural planning, detailing, building materials and construction means and methods.
- Conversant in site planning, civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering to the extent necessary to coordinate and integrate these disciplines into the construction documents.
- Candidates can specifically speak to project problems and solutions associated with the industry standard areas of competency.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and other applicable project related software.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to take initiative and function with minimal supervision.
- Must have demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
