Key Responsibilities
- Site Planning & Design: Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans for land development projects.
- Permitting & Compliance: Prepare and submit permit applications while ensuring compliance with zoning, environmental, and municipal regulations.
- Utility Design: Design water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure for new developments and coordinate with utility providers.
- Project Coordination: Work with surveyors, architects, environmental consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Construction Support: Provide technical guidance during the construction phase, review shop drawings, and address field issues.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and success.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and calculations to support project designs and submissions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience in land development, site civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Licensure: EIT required; PE preferred or the ability to obtain it.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar engineering software.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal land development regulations and permitting processes.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
